If you use an Android phone or tablet, then there are two Apps I know off that do almost the same as CPT. It is also possible to update the engine to the latest version. However, I do like the program's features. The program has not been updated for a long time and has still an older version of Stockfish as an engine. I just bought the CPT myself but feel a bit angry that although the website makes you believe that there is support, there is, in fact, no support.
